Dr. Samatha Chandupatla, MD, Co-founding Partner of FortWorth Renal Group is a highly experienced Nephrologist, who has been in practice since 2005. She completed Medical School in India and went on to do her Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University and then Fellowship in Nephrology at Louisiana State University. She is currently board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology.
She was the Medical Director of USRC Dialysis Center in Central Fort Worth off of Miller & Berry Street for over 9 years. Dr. Chandupatla has been practicing at JPS Hospital for the past several years and has been actively involved in teaching resident students there. She also has a keen interest in research and has been involved with clinical research for over 4 years.
She specializes in treating patients with various kidney problems including chronic kidney disease (CKD), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), high blood pressure (hypertension), glomerulonephritis, electrolyte abnormalities and dialysis. In order to provide better care for her patients, she stays informed about the latest treatments and research in the field. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, playing the piano and reading.
Dr. Chandupatla was voted Fort Worth Top Doc in 2017 by her peers.
